We are looking forward to doing some fun summer events together, so stay tuned for future announcements about these events.
Thank you to those students who attended our recent jam session for our youth-led worship team. It is great to know there are students who are interested in being part of this team! However, as we are in need of adult volunteers to help cultivate a student-led worship team, Pastor Daryl, Chris Schmidt, and I have made the tough decision to cancel any further jam sessions until we have volunteers to help.
Adults, if you are musically inclined and would be interested in helping students prepare to lead worship for OSM, please reach out to me or Chris Schmidt. We are always looking for ways to incorporate our volunteers' unique talents!
Proverbs 16:9 says, "A person plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." God only needs us to be willing to take one step at a time, and so I want to encourage you all that that is exactly what we will do from now until the fall, and even after!
If you would be willing to host a summer event (either at your home, or at a public place such as a park for BBQ or hiking and games) please reach out to me or Chris Schmidt as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly! There are three families that have been willing to step forward, and we would love to have a few more places to gather and continue to build our community together this summer!
