Kids: Week of May 8, 2023

by Ashley Schmidt on May 08, 2023

Hello Fellow Oakwood Families-

Wednesday, May 10

Kids have learned nearly twenty attributes of God (and Jesus) during the past semester! Each week a new one was presented in large group, discussed in small group, and they have an object lesson, craft, experiment, or game to help teach the attribute. During the next two weeks we will be reviewing these attributes. Knowing these attributes of God helps kids understand more about who He is. The last day of WNC is May 24.

Sunday, May 14

3k-5th graders will be singing in church early on during each service. Please consider having your child(ren) stay to sing during the 10:30 a.m. service. If you do, you can pick them up in the Kid Zone around 10:45 a.m., when they are done singing.

Then kids will continue in Luke in chapter 5 where Peter worships Jesus.

Upcoming

Friday, May 19 – Survivor Night for current 5th-8th graders. There is still room and this is a great event to invite a friend to!
