You may want to allow yourself a few extra minutes to check-in your kids this week. Kids in 3K+ will advance to the next grade, with new teachers and new rooms. Please note kids need to be 3-years-old by Sept. 1, 2023, to move up to 3K.
Kids that were in 5th grade during the ’22-’23 school year will be promoted to Middle School and get to participate in Oakwood’s Student Ministry starting this week.
This summer, kids will continue with our current curriculum, Gospel Project. During the next two months kids will explore some of the miracles and teachings of Jesus, starting with Jesus calming the storm in Matthew 8.
Summer Offering Project
Kids recently finished collecting, learning about, and praying for an upcoming mission trip to Perth, Australia. Seth Smith will be going there this summer to share the Good News of Jesus with Cru. Kids finished strong, collecting $451.64!
June and July offerings will go to Royal Family Kids Camp. RFK is a summer program for foster kids in Central Wisconsin with a goal to encourage, uplift, and empower kids in the foster system. Kids will get a new tag to go in their offering bags. Encourage your kids to share this mission with you, their friends, and family, and take time with your child to pray for this year's campers!
