Hey Families!

It has been quite a journey getting here to Oakwood, but am excited finally be with you all! I know it will take time to meet each of you, but please feel free to send an email, call, or schedule a time to meet so I can get to know more about you and your family!
Thank you to all the parents that came out to Family Night! It was so great to meet each of you!  Watching you all interact with your children and open Gods Word together was such a joy!  I can’t wait to do more family-together ministry activities!
January 19 | 6:30-8 pm
I’m so excited for Wednesday Night Community to start up!  We are going to continue talking about Moses focusing on how our God guides us each step of the way in our life journeys.  Whether we are  floating down a scary river where danger is around every bend, or scared while standing before our enemy with a big message that they are not going to want to hear, or waiting for God to open the waters so we can cross the Red Sea, or simply camped out for short time; no matter what has happened, is happening, or going to happen we can trust our great Jehovah to guide us through every circumstance we face!  Wednesday nights will include a great time of worship, organized prayer groups, verse memorization, bible lesson, games and small groups.
January 23 | 9-10 am
This Sunday we are going to open God's Word and see how Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and God provided a way for them to escape through the Red Sea (Hebrews 3:3). People who trust in Jesus escape the penalty of sin and have eternal life. Our God made a way where it seemed impossible. The big picture question we will be asking is, does God keep His promises?
I can’t wait to see you all this week and for our kids to find out that yes, God always keeps His promises because He is faithful!! That’s it for now but there are so many exciting things ahead!  Please reach out with any questions! Have a great week families! To God be the glory for all He has done and will do in and through each of us as we choose to serve Him!
Catch you in the Zone!
