6th - 8th grade: Week of Jan 10, 2022

Hey families!

I'm so excited, we're doing our first Wednesday night this week! It feels like it's been forever since the students have been in the Middle School room, I'm looking forward to having them all back. This week is Family Night which means parents and guardians are encourage and invited to join their student for youth group. We're going to be discussing the role of teenagers in the family as well as giving our parents and guardians a chance to destroy their student in dodgeball (or team up with them if they prefer ha!) We'd love to have you and your student join us from 6:30 - 8:00pm. Come see what your students are up to each week!

Sunday morning is Pastor Roger's last day at Oakwood. We're excited for his next phase of life through retirement and want to celebrate him and all God has done through him. So we're going to take a week off of Sunday morning programming and be a part of the 9am celebration service together. If your student would like to sit with Nicole and I, we'll have a row of chairs available for students! See your student there and be sure to say thanks to Roger this Sunday.

And on Friday, January 21st, the Middle School group is going to do a night of Scatterball. This is the most amazing dodgeball game ever created and our students love it. We'll be in the gym here at Oakwood from 6:00 - 8:00pm for lots of running and laughter. See your student there!
